Bring to Mind

There are those of us who rely on our pets to keep us company and amuse us whenever we come home from work. Those who happen to live by themselves would prefer having a pet around to forget about the loneliness of having to live alone. Pets are a great way to keep us entertained and to provide us a certain sense of happiness especially when we come home pretty tired and stressed from work.

When our pets pass on, it is but expected that we pay our last respects to them. After all, they are just like other individuals who have also been part of our lives, and provided us with happiness and laughter in our lives. We are reminded of them even in their death with granite pet grave markers. This way, we can all be reminded of how special they are in our lives and have been meaningful to us.

Burying Pets

Those who have pets must pay their last respects to those creatures who have loved them selflessly. These pets are such loyal creatures to their owners, and would even go through great lengths just to ensure the safety of those who are taking care of them. This is the reason why we get pretty attached to these creatures; they show us unconditional love like we have never seen.

When we bury our pets, it would be fitting to make use of pet tombstones so we would be able to mark the very spot where we have laid our beloved pets to rest. This is the perfect way to show our love and respect to those who have been with us for many years, and have showed us how love must be. At the very end, we must at least be able to give back all the love they have given us.

A Pet’s Memorial Plaque

I still remember when I lost my first pet. They were two fishes that I kept in a bowl and regularly fed. I was only six years old back then and when they finally died, it was really heart-breaking. The memory was so vivid that even now that I am in my 20’s I can still remember every detail of the day when they died and how we buried them in our backyard.

I have lost two more pets after that but they weren’t as heart-breaking as the first one. That’s why when I learned about the memorial plaques for pets that are already available in the market, I really wished that I had one for all the pets I lost. I think that they will be very useful things to help you remember the animals that have been very good companions though good and bad times.

I know a lot of people who wants to keep the memory of their bereaved pets alive. They do lots of things like making a scrapbook out of all the pictures of their pets. Some even compile videos and burn it in a cd while others keep the urns inside their homes. There are a lot of ways to keep the memories alive and it just depends on the owner on how he or she would like to do that.

But one of the simplest ways to keep your pet’s memory alive is by placing one of those pet grave plaques in the place where you buried them. It’s very simple yet you can place flowers every now and then and visit them there. It is also very cheap and you maintenance is not that hard. When you have just lost your dog, chances are the whole family is mourning and distraught after having spent years with your pet. One’s pet is just like any member of the family, wherein you get to be attached and devoted to. Pets are not only loyal companions, but they also cheer us up whenever we feel down. They are more than willing to protect us from those intruders who may cause harm, and are willing to give up their lives just so they can guard and defend their owners.

As an act of farewell, providing grave markers for dogs is a way by which you can remember your loyal hound. The relationship you have established with your pet is just like how you would with a real person. That is why it is but natural for you to do everything you can to honor your pet and bid goodbye to him in the most fitting way. This is just appropriate so you can have your dog’s memories with you, and live on with the fact that you have reciprocated the love your pet has given to you.

We’re Still Close to Daddy

My dad died a year ago after a long fight with cancer. He struggles with it for almost six years and although we didn’t want him to leave us, we were glad that his struggle has finally ended. It’s really hard because my mom still cannot accept the fact that he passed away, and my siblings who are still both in high school are very affected by daddy’s death. Sometimes, I also miss him a lot but I know that he has finally rested and I should be happy he’s in peace.

One solution for grief, my friend told me, is to feel like the departed is still close to you. She suggested that we cremate our dad and choose from memorial urns that would keep his remains close to us. We followed the suggestion and I bought a blue urn that reminds us of the sea, which he loves very much. My mom says that she likes the feeling that daddy is still close even in spirit and thought. Some of my friends find it creepy but I don’t care because it’s helping my family heal.

Funeral urns are used to contain the ashes of a person after cremation. It is sometimes called burial or cinerary urns, or more popularly known as a memorial urn. The use of funeral urns has been recorded in history, especially in ancient Greece. Urns were commonly utilized also in England. There are different kinds of urns available these days, some of which are handmade that come in different designs, shapes, colors, and materials. One amazing type of urns is the one that uses recycled or biodegradable materials which are designed to float on water first before they elegantly sink and biodegrade beneath the ocean floor.

There are also urns that can be customized with photo frames wherein photos of a deceased person can be placed to add some personal touch. Finding the best type of funeral urn for your loved one is never a problem. Various makers of memorial urns also have provided their own website to help families choose only the best quality designed urns.

More and more people are getting practical these days. They are planning for inevitable events that our grandparents did not feel comfortable to even talk about. This has to do with the kind of burial that we want for ourselves. I think this was brought about by the introduction of memorial plans. It was easier to discuss these matters with counsellors rather than family members.

In these plans you can have a hand at making decisions for your own services. Take a look at cremation urns available. There is a wide range to choose from. A starting point is your budget. You can get great looking urns are a reasonable budget. You might also want to spend more with urns made of special materials.
