Dog bandanas
In the spring and summer pet dogs need very little in terms of dressing up. Dog bandanas and scarves will be enough to keep him comfortable while walking down the street or playing in the park. Not only are they pretty, they will make your pet easy to identify as he romps around with other dogs. Dress him up in a colorful bandana and you will never worry about losing him. Better yet, make him a personalized bandana with his name embroidered on it.
Making a bandana for your dog is easy. You will need a piece of square fabric. Flannel or cotton will be ideal. Cut a piece depending on the size of your dog. Put in about 3½ inches extra to overlap when sewing. You will also need a lining fabric, a few inches of Velcro, sewing thread and embroidery thread if you want to personalize your project. You simply need to sew together the fabric and lining, attach the Velcro and viola! Your dog has a cute bandana.
