It is very common now for dogs to wear dresses. They were initially worn to keep the dog warm but now, it has become a fashion thing. They range from costumes that can be bought off the rack to fashionista dog clothes that sometimes carry signature labels. I have always maintained that a dog dress makes a dog uncomfortable. They may look cute but I am pretty sure that most dogs will rather not be in them if they had a choice.
But, if we want to have fun, let’s have fun. Let’s dress up our favorite puppy the way a belle of the ball would – in a pretty ruffled dress. Or get her ready to attend a garden party in a pink polka dot dress. It has a waistband trimmed with roses and comes with matching hat and leash. You can almost imagine her carrying a bunch of flowers walking behind the bride.
