Most of us live stressful lives. To combat stress, we must find ways to relax us. Some people get pets, more specifically dogs. Dogs are funny, loving creatures that can take stress away. They’ll always take your side even if you are on the wrong. If you’re planning on a getting a dog, make sure you can take care of it. Most dogs need plenty of exercise. If you cannot walk them daily, make sure you get a dog exercise pen. Dog exercise pens can be bought in most pet stores.
Dogs are active animals. Most breeds need a lot of exercise to spend off their energy. If you don’t give them their daily dose of exercise, they will expend it on your furniture, flooring, bed, shoes or all of the above. How much exercise? Usually an hour’s walk will do. Of course some breeds like the Doberman, Golden Retriever, Labrador and Greyhound need a lot more. That’s why when you have these kinds of dogs it is best you have a huge yard. For normal dogs, dog exercise pens will do. If you have a dog that’s digging in your carpet or gnawing at your furniture or shoes, then more likely he needs more exercise.
