Training a new puppy is definitely a challenge, but essential. Puppy training begins the day that you bring your new pet home and continues for months as they continue to learn the basics of becoming a part of the family. Focus on the essentials such as chewing, digging, house training, jumping, and learning to wear a collar and walk on a leash. Just keep in mind that patience is the key when training a puppy.
