Dog training

March 2nd, 2010

Dogs are marvelous creature as long as you get it trained. If not, they will become monsters. Dog training should be done as soon as you get your puppy. A younger dog is easier to train. On the other hand, do not get puppies less than 4 months old. If you do you’ll get lots of behavioral and health problems. The first training a pup gets is from its mother. Up to the 12 week, the mom will teach her pup how to behave and act towards humans. If you get a pup less than 12 weeks, they won’t have this training. That’s why it is best to avoid breeders who try to sell puppies younger than 12 weeks. They are more often puppy farms instead of legitimate breeders.

Now, let’s go onto dog training. The first training you get probably do is leash and collar training. It is the foundation of all training. Leash and collar training will allow you to control your dog. Do it as early as possible. Putting a leash on a 4 month old is easy as compare to a snarling two year old.
