Some good reasons to put your dog through a bit of training:~ It helps develop bonding between pet and master ~ It’s mentally stimulating for the dog ~ It gives him a sense of belonging ~ It improves his behaviorIn practice, the usual main reason to put a dog through training is to make him obedient. Rewarding and not penalizing is what works best in training a dog. Understanding the likes and dislikes of the dog and responding to these likes and dislikes will bring out the best in him.
