leather horse leads

There is always a right tool for the job and this applies to the proper training of horses as well. Use a lead rope when training your horse to move into a stall or to a different pasture. Proper leading requires that the animal respects your space, not run past you, and not run over you or step on your feet. Your horse must learn to follow you on a loose lead and move off with a feel when you ask.
Use leather horse leads as they give the rope a “live” feel that you can use to send direction, energy, and feel to your horse. This type of material will come into play during training. The heavier the feel of the lead, the more you can send subtle “messages” to your horse which would not be possible with lighter ropes.
