Many people are drawn to parrots for their intelligence, beautiful colors and adorable personalities. Although caring for these pets in the home will involve a few challenges, with proper care, parrots can make for wonderful pets. There are different species of parrots and they require different care.
But for all parrots, proper nutrition is essential in maintaining a good quality of life. Most parrot diets are the same. In general, these birds need to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, parrot treats and pellets, and parrot seed mix. Clean water should also be given everyday.
