There is a famous saying that dog’s are a man’s best friend. There are a lot of pet owners who treat their dogs as part of their family. They live inside the house and sometimes even sleep on the same bed as their human companions. They are given the best possible shelter, food, medical care and even expensive dog treats. There are different types of dog treats as there are different ways to use dog treats.

A lot of dog owners give their dogs these dog treats much for their own pleasure as for their dogs. But these dog treats are used more often as training tools. When training your dog the basic commands such as sit, stay and heel; giving them some dog treats after successfully following a command is considered one of the best motivational tools. Agility shows are shows where owners can show off their dog’s energetic personality and amazing agility. The dog owners direct their dogs through an obstacle course made of hurdles, tires, and tunnels in a race for both time and accuracy. These dogs run without a leash and without toys or food as incentives. Agility, jumping, gamling, and team relays are a few common competition classes the dog owners can enter their dogs in.

Every dog agility trainer has to have their own obstacle course for practice, or dog agility toys to harness their dog’s skills. Here’s a list of equipment commonly used in agility training:
